About me

I was born in Olot (Girona). Ever since I was little, I was already, differences aside, acting, dancing and directing. I was a dreamer and I always imagined an exciting life. I was shy too and I was afraid of speaking in public and feeling judged. Even though it hasn’t been easy along the way, my desire to do what I am passionate about has been bigger than my insecurities. I constantly challenge myself to do things that really scare me in order to be bolder and more confident. Dedicating myself to this precious and crazy profession is the greatest act of self-love that I do every single day.
I was part of a dance company in my hometown from age 6 to 17. There, I learnt the meaning of effort, commitment, discipline and community spirit. At 14, I started travelling with the company to dance at international dance festivals in Canada, Austria, Bulgaria, France and Cyprus. Thanks to that, I had the opportunity of getting to know music, cultures and people from all over the world. Besides, I was part of many plays and shows in my hometown. It was during the rehearsals for the musical Cabaret that I realized: ‘This is what I want to do. Acting, travelling, discovering, sharing.
Even so, the idea of pursuing a professional artistic career seemed quite foreign and almost unthinkable to me. I had no references or role models around me and I felt lonely. I played along with it until, after graduating from University, I decided to be honest with myself and act on it. I spent an entire summer managing a restaurant with a friend, we hired 10 people and worked hard. That is how I got what I needed: money for my studies. With the help of my family and my savings I moved to Barcelona to do what I always wanted to do: to train in a professional performing arts school.
It might seem that our purpose doesn’t make any sense at times, but having the courage of trying to fulfil it is what makes us who we are. I am the first person in my family who has been able to choose what to do in this life, and that is a gift that I always cherish and enjoy as much as I can. My mother introduced me to movies, dance, music and theatre. And this is what I do for a living because it is my way of feeling alive, human, brave and authentic.
